Round-Up 50th edition
By: Kara Adkins If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a yearbook must be worth a million. This year’s Round-Up Yearbook is particularly special to the heart and history of Coppell. It will mark the 50th edition of Coppell High School’s yearbook, exemplifying the hard work and dedication that CHS students put in to create a fantastic product filled with memories and recaps of the year. As CHS has grown from a few hundred kindergarten through 12th graders in the ‘70s to almost 2,700 high school students today, the yearbook has likewise evolved. Over the years, the yearbook staff has put more time and effort into making sure Coppell is proud of the…
Sarah Ditto yearbook finale
Staff Writer Paige Wilson It is not uncommon to walk into the yearbook room and see someone hunched over a computer engaged in intense concentration. Senior Sarah Ditto is often that person. Ditto is known for many things, such as her joyful attitude and sympathy towards others. However, in Round-Up yearbook, she is most readily known for her skills in graphic design. Ditto has been on the yearbook staff for two years and has been recognized as a Photoshop pro. And as her senior year comes to an end, so does her yearbook career. “Yearbook was pretty stressful,” Ditto said. “But I have a lot of good memories and made some really close friends.” Round-Up…

Photography ‘clicks’ for Carlile, photos to be sold at Urban Outfitters
By Chris Nguyen Features Editor Click. Senior Loren Carlile captures a moment in time with her camera and knows that is it. That composition. That lighting. That perspective. It just works. “It sounds so cheesy, but I can feel it,” Carlile said. “Like I know when a picture looks good, especially when I’m in it. I know what I look like and I guess what I’m trying to say is I kind of view things through a viewfinder – I guess I just have natural viewfinder – and so I can just tell when there is a good photograph there.” It is a skill and talent that is all the more impressive when considering Carlile just…
Yearbook pranks it’s own
First year Yearbook staff members awoke this morning to be visited by their fellow senior members carrying bundles of wacky clothes in honor of Yearbook Wake Up day. “Today’s when all the senior staff members wake up the junior staff members early and make them wear something ridiculous to school. They have to wear it all day and can’t take it off,” said senior Micaela Rosinski. “I was lucky, they just dressed me up as an elf or something.” Students could see roaming the hallways today students wearing random coats, seperate pairs of shoes, and bizarre hats. “When they handed me the hat to wear, I thought I was going to get out of it…
