Tying the bow on red ribbon week

By Tanner McCord Staff Writer Today is Friday, meaning that Red Ribbon Week is coming to a close here at CHS. Spirit-wise, I would say that it has been a successful week. I saw several students hiding from drugs by wearing various camouflage clothing items on Monday. Numerous students were clad in their grandma’s old Christmas sweater on Tuesday. The halls seemed a little brighter with Wednesday’s neon theme. Many students sported their sportswear yesterday, and the red theme of today seems to be a hit. Again, in terms of spirit, Red Ribbon Week was a great success. I’m hoping that it accomplished its real goal of keeping CHS drug free.
