We’ve all heard about the massive scandal concerning Tiger Woods and his harem of mistresses. Concuring with his return to golf at the U.S. Masters tournament this week Nike began airing this commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FjYMwPirrI Now regardless of your thoughts on the scandal itself, this is by far one of the best ads I’ve seen in years. While some may think this ad in itself is a risky ploy (possibly alienating Nikes customers by siding with a man who has been scorned by women around the country), I think it’s brilliant. My ears immediately perked up. As I watched expecting to hear something about the President or the economy, Tiger Woods appeared on the screen. No one besides people in Wood’s camp knows what Woods looks like or how he is doing mentally since the crash that exposed his secondary life.
