College night helps students see their different options

By Caroline Carter Staff Writer Last night, Thursday September 15, over 175 colleges from across the country came to CHS to give prospective students a chance to see what all the different colleges are about. For me, it gave me a chance to look at different universities that I had never really considered. It might because many friends and family members attended a college in Texas, but I had always assumed that I would end up at an in-state school. But with the many colleges from states other than Texas, I soon saw that there are some colleges that may be a better fit for me. Conference Tournaments: Big East

By Peter Sblendorio Number One Seed: Syracuse is a sure bet for a One seed in the 65 team tournament this March, and their place in the Big East Tournament will likely have no effect on that. Syracuse has arguably the most depth in the conference, and their low post game with Arinze Onuaku and Rich Jackson emerging has really taken off.
