Big day for Seniors on Tuesday

Beth Anne Carroll Staff Writer The class of 2011 has a lot to look forward to tomorrow. Coppell High School seniors have several big events taking place tomorrow morning. The day will start with a free breakfast in the commons at 7:45. Seniors will be provided with breakfast and will have an opportunity to deliver any thank you notes to staff members. Following breakfast, the annual senior awards ceremony will be held in the gym at 9:00. All seniors, juniors, and sophomores attend the awards and senior parents are welcome to attend as well. Coleman Armes Staff Writer Tuesday May 24, 2011 all of the seniors hard work will be rewarded starting off with a senior breakfast free of charge to the seniors starting at 7:45 am in the commons area. Then the annual senior awards ceremony will be held in the gym. The ceremony will be held in the large gym and will feature many awards for all type of activities. The academies go to Six Flags for well deserved vacation

Abby Drake Staff Writer The select group of freshman students who are a part of the different academies have worked very hard this year and finally got a day to relax and have fun. There are three academies the PSA one which focuses on students who want a career in public service, like medical assistance or teaching. EMAC is another academy that focuses more on media careers and STEM is the academy that gears towards engineering. The counseling department is trying to help you stay organized with the final senior bulletin, which includes important dates and information on the senior breakfast, senior awards, senior trip to Six Flags, honor stoles, dual credit, the graduation rehearsal and ceremony, as well as other counseling information. Physics brings back Six Flags trip

By Gaby Moran Staff Writer Today, all 2009-2010 physics classes got the chance to go to Six Flags Over Texas to “relate” what they have learned in class all year at an amusement park. However, everyone knows that it really is just a fun day to give students at the end of the year. And, it is well deserved since every student must take that course.
