Coppell soccer teams last District games tonight

Cowboys clinch playoff spot, make most out of Senior Night

To keep with tradition, the last home game is set to honor the senior players. “[Senior Night] is not just to celebrate our soccer careers at the high school but also to thank our parents for coming to all of our games no matter where or what the weather is like,” senior captain Colton Reese said. Cowboys look to snap scoring drought for playoff push

With four more games left until the season is over, Coppell has many crucial games including a Feb. 26 game against Hebron whom Coppell is tied with for the fourth ranking spot. “We beat Hebron last time but anything can happen and we just have to go out there and starting scoring more,” senior captain Jordan Elgin said. Coppell looks to harvest Farmers

By Andy Tabor Staff Writer The Coppell Cowboys look to stay in second place in district tonight against the Lewisville Fighting Farmers.  This is a must win for the Cowboys, who could clinch a playoff spot in the tough and parity filled district 6-5A. Lewisville comes limping in at 0-3 in district play and 2-6 overall.  Coppell comes into the game 7-1 and 2-1 in district with their only loss being at Southlake Carroll.
