First of all, use Naviance to your advantage. The counselors set it up for a reason: it’s really helpful. A bunch of scholarships you might be eligible for are just a few clicks away from the school website, and some of them don’t even require an essay or a recommendation letter. Naviance eases college prep stress

Earlier this year, students should have set up a Naviance account with their counselors and teacher -the username following the format of the student’s older school e-mail (ABC2345@students.coppellisd.com) and password (mm/dd/yy). With the three main categories of college, career and “about me”, Naviance users can have access to information on upcoming college visits, scholarship opportunities, college maps; career choices and personality and interest tests; and history about you, the student. PSAT sets tomorrow’s schedule

By Julia Kim Staff Writer PSAT tomorrow. These words haunt the majority of the junior class, testing for the opportunity to become a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. While seniors will enjoy a few hours of extra sleep, underclassmen will follow with the usual routine of attending school at 8:20; this time with a different purpose. Sophomores, like last year, will engage in a practice PSAT to prepare for their upcoming assessment the next year.
