Movies provide spring break entertainment

However, there are still many students who will be spending the week long break at home. The students that will be staying home for a week will, at some point say, “I’m bored and there is nothing to do”. Rebecca Neumann Entertainment Editor After an excruciatingly long week of limited releases in Los Angeles and New York City, Charlotte Bronte fans across the rest of America are finally able to see the newest film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre. The movie is worth the wait. It stays loyal to the themes of the novel but makes some key changes to broaden the viewing audience to a wider group of people. For instance, whereas the two main characters in the story are meant to be plain-looking in the novel, the actors cast in the film both have better-than-average looks. Sister Hazel comes to Dallas this weekend
By Gaby Moran Staff Writer This Saturday, Dec. 12, the alternative band Sister Hazel is performing at the House of Blues in Dallas. Sister Hazel was created in the early 90′s and have had six top 30 singles over their 10 albums plus one holiday album. The band recently released Release on Aug. 18 this year. Each member contibuted a couple of songs to this album to make it different from the rest. Tickets cost a minimum of $22.50 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com. The concert will start at 9 p.m. at the House of Blues in Dallas.
