8th grade shadow days allow seniors to reflect

By Henna Khan Business Manager On Tues., Wed. and Thurs. the Coppell High School Red Jackets along with several  Ready, Set, Teach! members will be giving helpful advice and one very well-rounded tour of the campus to 8th graders throughout Coppell. As a Red Jacket myself, I had the opportunity to witness the reactions, the experience and the questions first hand. The day started off with a warm welcome as the students were ushered into the auditorium for a brief introduction as well as an overview video made by KCBY. CHS opens house

by Ashley Attanucci Staff Writer The high school’s annual Curriculum Night –the one night parents experience that truly mimics the chaos of the jam-packed halls of an enormous school- has come and went. Parents and…

The Red Jackets are given a schedule at the very beginning of the year outlining which weeks they will give announcements. The weekly shifts are broken into two groups, comprised of two Red Jackets each: the first pair gives the announcements on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; the second pair picks up Tuesday and Thursday. “I always knew Red Jackets did the announcements, but…
