Seniors shine in Days of Our Coppell Lives
By Kristen Shepard Staff Writer On Monday and Tuesday night, the Coppell High School auditorium curtains unveiled two hours of laughs, smiles and sheer talent in this year’s senior talent show, Days of our Coppell Lives. Even before the show, the audience bubbled with anticipation for the night’s acts, as the auditorium filled up with a primarily student audience. “I can’t wait for the show tonight. Heritage Day prepares to take students on cultural experience
by Divya Kumar News Editor With the abundance of cultures and ethnicities at Coppell High School, the annual “Heritage Night” is looked forward to with much excitement. Though it is done every year, certain features have been added to this year’s performances and exhibits to make it a greater cultural experience than before. The event, sponsored by the Junior World Affairs Council club, will be held Friday, Feb. 25 from 6-9 p.m. in the small commons. Participants have been preparing since the beginning of the school year, when countries were selected and ideas were brainstormed for all events. Though the holiday has been touched lightly upon in Spanish classes through the years, several students are still unaware of what exactly this Hispanic holiday entails. CHS Academic Decathlon team advances to state
