AMC’s new series “The Walking Dead” is the show to watch

*SPOILER ALERT* Last night, after weeks and maybe months of anticipation, AMC premiered it’s new show, “The Walking Dead”. The show centers around survivors of a virus outbreak, trying to avoid the zombie hoards that have taken over Atlanta, Georgia. It all starts off when main character, Rick Grimes, wakes up in a deserted hospital after being in a coma from a gunshot wound. He finds himself in an empty city, save for two survivors he finds throughout the show and a group of other survivors he briefly talks to on the radio before they lose each other. By Rebecca Fowler Staff Writer It’s finally here.  The midnight premiere we have been anticipating for a year: the Twilight saga’s second film, New Moon. Hundreds of girls will be flooding to the theater tonight to see Edward, Bella and Jacob live their extraordinary lives on the big screen.  Many—including my group of friends and I—are going to the late-night shows but will show up to the theater two or three hours before the movie actually starts in order to get good seats.  Therefore, there will be a lot of sitting around, trying to find something to do.
