New upgrades for “Chuck”

Rebecca Neumann Staff Writer After being on hiatus since April, NBC’s hit television show “Chuck” has returned with some new upgrades. “Chuck” centers around Chuck Bartowski, played by Zachary Levi, a computer expert for the fictional Buy More technology store (sound familiar?). Two years ago, in the series premiere, his life was suddenly turned upside-down when he came in contact with a computer program called the Intersect that downloaded top-secret government information into his brain. What is so appealing about the show is its extensive back-story and depth. This fact has earned “Chuck” a panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con as well as a flock of devoted fans. No more Mr. Nice Spy for “Chuck” fans

Tomorrow, Jan. 10, the show will kick off its third season with a two-hour season premiere beginning at 9:00/8:00 p.m. central time, followed by a one-hour episode at its regular time on Monday, Jan. 11 at 8:00/7:00 p.m. central. “Community” one of the best new comedy series

By Rebecca Fowler Staff Writer Community college.  It’s a great place for transitioning from high school into the real world or to a university, and it also serves as a last chance for adults who wish to learn more.  However, over the years it has become a joke. This could not be made more evident than in NBC’s new TV show “Community.” While poking fun at all the stereotypes, including the high school jock stuck in the past, the gossipy and overly-cheery mom and the rich older man seeking youth again, “Community” manages to keep it both funny and real.  The show, while quirky and simple, enforces values of friendship and honesty.  Though the characters…
