AP Art students compete to be the next Young Master

The Young Master’s Competitions allow these students to do as such; submit an original piece of artwork in order to be featured in the Dallas Museum of Art, alongside the real masters. IB students host Four-Letter Word Tournament to wrap up fundraising

by Divya Kumar News Editor As part of an ongoing process to raise money for their International Project, the junior International Baccalaureate class of Coppell High School hosted its final fundraiser on May 24 for the Three Cups of Tea Organization, which raises money to provide education for girls in Middle Eastern countries. Preceding this event, the students had held two fundraisers: a hot chocolate sale and a garage sale. Obtaining a mere $40 from the hot chocolate fundraiser, a rather spirit-crushing amount, the garage sale helped to improve attitudes, yielding $990.98. CHS band leaves for Corpus Christi

by Divya Kumar News Editor The Coppell High School band, while often busy playing at multiple football games and practicing for seasonal concerts, is especially busy this week. With UIL on both Wednesday and Thursday, the band is set to leave this Friday for Corpus Christi as part of their annual trip. Roughly two hundred band kids are set to ride up to Corpus Christi on the bus, leaving during second period on Friday and returning around seven PM on Monday night.
