Perry burns KBH, Medina in primary
Incumbant governor Rick Perry won yesterday’s Republican primary in a landslide over competition Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Debra Medina. Perry defeated his opponents by 21 points, a surprisingly large margin considering his lukewarm popularity in 2006 and as governor. Hutchinson will face off against Democrat Bill White, governor of Houston, in November’s general election. Read more about yesterday’s primary here.
