Kanye West releases new single, “Runaway”

Kanye West’s new single, “Runaway” featuring Pusha T was released today. The song, which West performed at the VMA’s in September and on Saturday Night Live this past Saturday, is the second single West has released this year, not counting the Good Friday songs he releases on his Twitter or the songs he’s been featured on. West has talked about working on a new album numerous times on his Twitter though no release date has been set yet. “Runaway” is available for purchase and download on iTunes.

Cry more Taylor Swift

Nobody has forgotten the little incident that happened at last years VMA’s between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Though Swift has said that she’s over it, her performance last night at the VMA’s showed otherwise. Her song started off with clips from when West interrupted her acceptance speech (skip to 0:43) during the awards in 2009 and the rest of the song was just awkward. As if the song hadn’t made it obvious already that Swift was still holding a grudge, her refusal to close the show with West surely did. How MTV’s VMAs kinda got its groove back

By Chris Nguyen Features Editor After several years of pain in Miami and Los Angeles with a listless ceremony in New York in between, last night’s VMAs on MTV rebooted itself back in New York City. MTV kept the stage big, the celebrities camptastic and the performances coming.
