Boys soccer to compete with nation’s heavyweight

However, in this circumstance, people only have to travel to District 6-5A matches to see the best. Coppell defeats Highland Park for a second time
By Amanda Peck Staff Writer The Coppell varsity hockey team played and defeated Highland Park for the second time last night with the final score being 4-2. Charlie Busch, Sam Kim, Cody Rodgers and Jarred Smith each scored the goals contributing to Coppell’s win. The Cowboy’s record as of last night is 10-4 which reflects not only how good they have been playing but their hard work and determination this year as well. Cowboys strive to move up in rankings

The game tonight should be a good game for the Cowboys considering the McKinney Lions have won one of their district games so far. The Cowboys are 4-3 with two of their losses being in overtime shootouts. For both the players and the fans of both sides, this game is by far a favorite. The background behind the rivalry was brought about because of the fact that both teams have always been pretty good and the result of the game is never predictable.
