Vinyl records, however, have made an unexpected, unprecedented comeback. With iPods about as small as physically possible, why would anyone want to go back to giant vinyl records? iPhone’s top free app designed by 14-year-old

Thomas Hair Staff Writer For several days now, Bubble Ball has been the iPhone App Store’s number one free game. In the last two weeks, it has been downloaded 2 million times, a rate of almost 143,000 downloads per day. Many apps have had similar success, but the astonishing aspect of Bubble Ball is that it was researched, created, and developed by an 8th grade boy in his local library. The tech-savvy teen, Robert Nay, began working on Bubble Ball from the public library in Spanish Fork, Utah and released the game December 29, 2010. iPod 4G review

By Mike Pankonien Staff Writer It finally came; after starting my new summer job a week before school started and saving up my hard earned cash, my brand new, 64 GB iPod Touch 4G had arrived. At first glance several things are noticeable about the new iPod. For this review I will be comparing it too my two year old 8 GB iPod Touch 2g running on very old 3.0 firmware (the 3G model was largely the same as the 2G, minus it’s enhanced hardware). Apple unveils sweeping new iPod lineup

Zeb White Asst. Business Manager, Staff Writer Apple revealed a stunning new iPod lineup Wednesday featuring refreshed versions of the iPod Touch, the iPod Nano, and the iPod Shuffle. It also announced a new social network built into iTunes plus a smaller version of its AppleTV. The most innovative iPod update was the iPod Nano, which shrunk considerably and now features a 1.8 inch touch screen similar to that of the iPhone.
