Perry burns KBH, Medina in primary

 
Incumbant governor Rick Perry won yesterday’s Republican primary in a landslide over competition Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Debra Medina.
Perry defeated his opponents by 21 points, a surprisingly large margin considering his lukewarm popularity in 2006 and as governor.
Hutchinson will face off against Democrat Bill White, governor of Houston, in November’s general election.
