Although expectations may have been higher going into the season due to things beyond the Cowgirls control, they finished with their heads held high. Losing to a very talented Hebron Hawks team shouldn’t diminish any positive accomplishment the Cowgirls did this season. Starting out pre- season, the Cowgirls were considered a top 20 team in the state of Texas. With three division one college commits and a returning all-state libero, the Cowgirls looked for big things. Cowgirls look for revenge against Hawks

This match decides which team will move on to the regional semi-finals. Hebron has beaten Coppell in the regular season twice, the first time in five games at Hebron and the second time in four games, without senior Co-captain Deirdre Pajares. Cowgirls face hawks for district lead
The Cowgirls look to rebound from a loss earlier this week to the Southlake dragons in a game against Hebron that has major district impliactions. The cowgirls at 4-2 in district have the opportunity to take a share of the district lead tonight as they face the 5-1 hawks who beat them earlier in the sesason. Tonight is fan appreciation night for the cowgirls as all who attend and stay for the game will receive a free coppell volleyball t0-shirt. Cowboys ready to take on the Hawks
By Andy Tabor The Coppell football team looks to have a rebound performance tonight against the Hebron Hawks. Hebron recently lost to Flower Mound 37-30, while Coppell lost to Southlake 24-6. Both teams need a win to stay in contention in the tightly bunched 6-5A district. The football game starts at 7:30 at Buddy Echols field. The Dallas Cowboys used the Coppell field Wednesday for their team practice. The Cowboys have not beaten the Hawks ever since they started playing Coppell three years ago. Cowgirls lose to Hawks
By Andy Tabor The Coppell Cowgirls lost to the Hebron Hawks in five games Tuesday night at Hebron 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, and 9-15. The Cowgirls had previously beaten Southlake Carroll the Friday before for their first district win. Against Hebron, the Hawks came out with a lot of fire power and motivation. The Cowgirls tried desperately to match the intensity but were unable to sustain many steady runs. The Hawks are now now tied atop the district with Marcus with a 2-0 record. The Cowgirls play Marcus Friday at home and need a win to keep pace with the 6-5A leaders.
