While the earthquake that devastated Haiti on Jan. 12 dispersed Haitian families, the disaster united foreign peoples under a common effort for relief aid. Health Kits for Haiti
by Divya Kumar News Editor With the recent devastating series of earthquakes in Haiti, it seems that almost every organization is coming together to do all they can to help the situation. CHS has now become a part of this, asking for the creation of ‘Health Kits for Haiti’. These Health Kits are designed to provide a series of the basic necessities for those in Haiti who have recently found themselves homeless. The kits include: one hand towel, one washcloth, one comb, one fingernail clippers, one bath-size bar of soap, one toothbrush, one large tube of toothpaste and six adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages.
