However, in this circumstance, people only have to travel to District 6-5A matches to see the best. According to ESPN Rise Fab 50, Coppell moved up 17 spots from last year to being ranked 16th in the nation this year. The District 6-5A race has been compelling to watch, coming down the final Friday night for the second straight season. Now the four qualifiers go into battle the state’s best. Coppell avoided a scary situation in which they would be in a high stakes battle with Euless Trinity in the first round by beating Flower Mound last Friday.
