While the elation leftover from the staggering win beings to wear off, it’s time for everyone to look toward the next match-up, against the undefeated and nationally ranked Trinity Trojans on Friday Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Dragon Stadium in Carroll. Everyone knows the other team: Trinity has claimed the 5A Division I State Championship three out of the last five years, including last year. What not everyone may know is the stadium situation. Coppell brings down Euless Trinity in first game of season
On Monday Jan. 11, Coppell varsity boys’ soccer played Euless Trinity High School for the first real game of the year and an intense one it was. During the first half, Coppell was aggressive and kept the ball most of the time. While had a few chances to score, the ball mainly went passed the goal. Eight minutes into the game, senior captain Jordan Elgin stepped on number 10 Trojan and sprained his ankle. Coppell takes on Euless Trinity in soccer
By Gaby Moran Staff Writer The Coppell Varsity boys soccer team will scrimmage with Euless Trinity High School tonight. The two were suppose to play against each other in the Cowboy Classic Kickoff Tournament but that was cancelled due to weather. The Cowboys feel very confident that this should be a blow out game. Euless Trinity’s soccer team is nothing compared to their 2009 State Champions football team. The game is at home at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Monday Jan. 11.
