Coppell plans to slay dragons in hockey
Coppell hockey is playing their second game of the season tonight, Oct. 8, against one of Coppell’s biggest rivals, Southlake Carroll. Even though Carroll is one of Coppell’s biggest rivals in about every other sport, they don’t quite match up against Coppell’s hockey team. The Cowboys have defeated the Dragons the past three years, so, unlike the football game this week, the hockey game is not quite as highly anticipated. Although Carroll is not one of Coppell’s tougher opponents, it is still the beginning of the season and they want to start off on a good note. They are continuing their weekly practices and are preparing for the rest of their season.
