Varsity girls golf places third in District Preview
On Wednesday, the girls golf team went to Bridlewood Golf Course in Flower Mound to play in the District Preview. The Varsity girls team placed third in the tournament, competing against Flower Mound, Southlake, Marcus, Hebron and Lewisville. Senior Jinny Kim, junior Lauren Murphy, sophomores Aja Zarrehparvar and Young Jang, and freshman Tiffany Breitenwischer played for the girls. “I think we did good this past tournament,” Kim said. “If each player can do a little better next time I think we have a good chance of making it to regionals.” The girls gold team will return to Bridlewood on April 13 and 14 for the District tournament.
