Yearbook distribution means early morning work for students

Rebecca Neumann Staff Writer When you see a bunch of students carrying 69 pound boxes into the gym from a truck parked outside, you know something interesting is going on at Coppell High School. This morning, the yearbook and photography students carried their creation into the school in order to distribute them to more than half the student population over the next few weeks. What was most peculiar, however, was the time that the boxes full of yearbooks were taken into the building: 6 a.m. And the students unloading had to arrive at the school at 5:30. Round-Up Yearbook finalizes plans for distribution

Frances Ruiz Staff Writer Beginning at eight tomorrow morning the 2010 Round-Up Yearbook will be available for those who ordered a book in the fall as well as for students in need of purchasing one. Books will be sold for 100 dollars with cash as the only payment method and can be picked up by students that have already ordered and paid for one so long as a method of photo identification is provided. The yearbook staff can be found distributing books in the small gym at CHS during every period. Round-Up Yearbook prepares for annual distribution

Having been a full 10 months since we all ordered, purchased, posed in pictures for and bought senior ads for the 2010 Round-Up Yearbook, CHS students anticipate it’s arrival while members of the yearbook staff prepare for “D-Day”, the day of distribution. With over 400 pages, students can look forward to seeing shots of themselves and their friends throughout the seasons. Categorized into Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring sections, the book features classes new to the school year such as Chinese as well as programs newly implemented such as MAP and Rachel’s Challenge.
