A written art soon to die away because it is without a firm foundation when it was first introduced into society. Cursive lacks the force to replace print. It has no practical application. No advantages. Unfortunately, both are key factors in the preservation of the script. My memories of elementary school are vague. I remember the first day of school, field day, show-and-tell in kindergarten, career week in fifth grade. Normal events– things every teenager can recall without difficulty. Cursive to headline at Hailey’s on Nov. 27

Cursive fans from all over were ecstatic when the band announced their tour dates for November and December this past October. And the best part of this announcement? The band will be making a stop at Hailey’s in Denton, TX next Friday, the 27. Cursive was founded in 1995 when former band mates, Tim Kasher, Matt Maginn, Steve Pedersen joined forces with drummer Clint Schnase. Since then,the band has gained and lost several members but nonetheless produced seven successful albums. Their most current production, Momma, I’m Swollen, was released in March of this year.
