Souper Bowl of Caring returns to CHS

Now, there’s somewhere you can donate these cans to get rewards and feel good about being generous. The canned food drive is being kicked off with a pep rally on Jan. 13th and all donations go to the Souper Bowl of Care organization. Last year, the winning class, Ms. Doggett’s fourth period class, won the challenge and received signed items from Channing Tatum relating to his upcoming movie. Cans for a cause: Food Pantry assists needy Coppell families
by Ashley Attanucci Staff Writer Coppell High School started its very own food pantry officially at the beginning of this school year and, after a rocky start of trying to get it started in years past, it has finally taken off. The Food Pantry, an idea by Assistant Principal Laura Stout, is located on campus and provides non-perishable food items like cereal, canned goods and pastas to provide temporary relief to Coppell High School families in need.
