Coppell places third in Texas Cup State Tournament

By Amanda Peck Staff Writer The Coppell hockey team rose above their expectations for the 2009-10 season and finished with an impressive record of 36-7-3 and a third-place finish in the Texas State Cup Championship.   Before their season even started, the Cowboys earned the title of Summer League Champions with a 12-0-1 record.     By Amanda Peck Staff Writer The Coppell hockey team beat the Allen Eagles 6-2 in the City Championship game Wednesday night at the Farmers Branch Dr Pepper Stars Center. The goals were scored by brothers Brandon and Bradley Harley and Sam Kim who all had two goals each. Coppell hockey climbs in district rankings with last night’s win

By Amanda Peck Staff Writer The Coppell varsity hockey team proved themselves as being the best team Coppell has had in a while by beating Southlake Carroll, formerly the number one team in the division, 5-2 last night. The team’s win last night was crucial for the Cowboys to move up in the rankings and hopefully surpass Southlake when the district games come to an end. The Cowboys season ends March 4. Hockey team hosts community open skate

By Amanda Peck Staff Writer Have you ever wanted to skate with the Coppell Hockey players? Well, on Monday, Nov. 23, anybody who is interested will get the chance to join the players on the ice. The “Skate with the Cowboys “event will take place at the Farmers Branch Dr. Pepper Center from 11am- 1pm on the Monday during Thanksgiving Break.
