Rebecca Neumann Staff Writer The Black Eyed Peas have dished out some pretty incredible chart-topping singles, but could they also be amazing live performers? The answer, as I learned at their American Airlines concert on Mar. 19, is an over-whelming ‘yes’. I arrived about an hour before the concert began and was surprised to see the parking lot mostly empty, concession lines short and the majority of the stadium seats vacant. By the time Ludacris, the opening act, took the stage, the stadium was only about half filled, though he made the most of the audience and put on a decent show with his hit “Moneymaker”. Frances Ruiz Staff Writer Okay, while it may look like I’m having a seizure as I wildly jump up and down and excitedly scream the word ”TSwift” over and over again, I promise you that I’m not. The reason why I’m unable to control myself and look like some sort of crazy person escaped from the nearest hospital? Tonight’s the Taylor Swift Concert, and guess who scored tickets. That’s right. There’s no typing mistake. Nine hours from now, I will be jamming out to some of my favorite, and come on you have to admit, catchiest songs ever released. It’s not a crying baby in the next row, or the flight attendant running out of Dr Pepper; its fear of the flight itself. You might ask yourself, “How can blasting through the sky, in a pressurized metal tube, possibly be safe?” Thinking of famous accidents like US Airways 1549 which violently landed in the Hudson River, or the four flights involved in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, can draw our minds away from the reality: aviation is one of the safest modes of transportation available….
