“Gossip Girl” reveals newest addition

By Loren Hughes Staff Writer Any and every fan of “Gossip Girl” is aware of the mysterious and unknown identity of the father of Blake Lively’s character, Serena van der Woodsen. Throughout the show’s three seasons, Dr. William van der Woodsen has been mentioned and talked about several times but never fully revealed until now: Billy Baldwin. Baldwin is a television show veteran and has starred in such shows as “Danny Phantom” and “Dirty Sexy Money”. He is also the brother of fellow Hollywood actor, Alec Baldwin, and the husband of Wilson-Phillips singer Chynna Phillips. “Gossip Girl” is scheduled to premiere on Monday, March 10. Announcement of Oscar hosts sparks early interest in awards ceremony

To kick off the Oscar season, the Academy announced on Tuesday, Nov. 3, that this year’s funnyman for the evening was actually going to be funnymen.
