Starkid Potter’s Starship coming soon
Ashleigh Heaton Editor-in-Chief Fan of Starkid Potter’s productions, such as A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel? Have no fear: their newest production, Starship, will be premiering in the near future on YouTube. The show premiered in February, and the trailer will be live on YouTube on April 30. The show follows an alien named Bug (played by Joey Richter, who played Ron in the Potter musicals) who longs to become a member of the Star Troopers, an intergalactic pirate force. Potter-mania revived with “A Very Potter Sequel”
Ashleigh Heaton Editor-in-Chief Last year, I wrote a story about a little YouTube production from Starkid Productions called “A Very Potter Musical”. If you can’t tell by the tone of the article (or by the fact that I dedicated an entire article to the production,) I’m kind of in love with this show. So imagine, if you will, my excitement upon hearing that Starkid had followed up on their internet success and made a sequel, appropriately titled “A Very Potter Sequel“. Potter party rescheduled

The party, hosted by the Creative Writing Club, will now take place this Thursday, Dec. 17, after school in the lecture hall. On top of watching the YouTube sensation, party-goers can dress up to participate in a costume contest as well as enjoy great food. Admission is only $1. This is only the beginning when it comes to “A Very Potter Musical”, the latest performance to rock YouTube and the Harry Potter fanbase. Split up into two acts over the course of 23 YouTube videos, the comical musical parody of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series focuses on key points from throughout the series, most heavily on the plots of the first, fourth and seventh books. The main draw of the musical is for fans of the series knowledgeable of the magical world of Hogwarts and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, though fair-weather fans can still find it entertaining.
