Profile: Kelly Stewart is a senior at CHS, as well as the opinions editor for The Sidekick. This is her second year on staff, this time returning as an editor. Outside of school, she enjoys making and wearing cosplay costumes, watching anime, and playing with her dog Echo. For those who don't know, cosplay is when a person dresses up as a character from a TV show or movie, and usually the person will attend a convention to show off their costumes to other cosplayers. While Kelly does enjoy cons, she really likes the actual making of the costume, as sewing has always been a fun hobby. Her dislikes include spiders, white T-shirts, and hipsters. This fall she plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she will major in English. She hopes to someday become an author and own an octopus as a pet, which she will name Xander and train to open bottles.
