Profile: Erica Rohde is a junior at CHS and this is her 2nd year on staff. Erica loves to write stories that speak truth and interest the heart, enabling those who are shoved to the side to have a voice. She takes from her own experiences and with them motivates Sidekick readers. She celebrates Corn Dog Day every thursday with Michelle Pitcher. Yay food... She loves the outdoors and it's creatures, going to St. Ann's Catholic Parish, spontaneous dancing, and love's author Jane Austen and actress Keira Knightly. Her favorite subject is U.S History and she is a proud Texan. One of her editorials called "Rohde's Race to Nowhere" was made into a video and presented to the staff at CHS during the school year of 2010-11. While keeping her same values and goals she has a new outlandish dream that changes by the month. This month it's to be a NASCAR driver, of which she knows nothing about. If you show her the first five minutes of a House episode, she won't be able to move until it's over. Lebanese people rock.
