For Coppell High School students, January is a month marked by the chaos of exams, class registration and the end of the fall semester. Though class registration can be pretty straightforward, it is extremely important for students to be careful in selecting their classes for the upcoming year. No one wants to spend 36 weeks in a class that isn’t right for them.
Fortunately, Coppell High School offers many services to help make the decisions. For start, your counselors are available to answer any questions that aren’t answered by Coppell’s massive course selection guide. At the upperclassmen level, your counselor should help you walk through the graduation requirements to help avoid any pre-graduation stress.
Also, Coppell is offering a new service this year. A panel of Coppell seniors will be answering registration questions about the differences in course plans. From Academy students to IB Students to even New Tech students, these seniors have tried a variety of course plans and will be sharing their personal testimonies as to how the options worked for them.
Even if you are intent on the courses you plan to take, it never hurts to explore your options. After all, the nearly 100 page course selection guide can be very overwhelming.
