After waiting patiently for just under sixth months, the Big German Dirk Nowitzki will finally get a chance to satisfy his hunger for another NBA championship…again.
Both the players and the owners agreed on a tentative labor deal early Sunday morning that could salvage the season. The new agreement reached permits a 66-game schedule that tips off with a triple-header on Christmas day.
Many Dallas residents have been itching to see the returning world champions, the Dallas Mavericks, resume their sweet shooting on the court, and bring another Larry O’Brien trophy to the DFW metroplex.
The Mavs begin defending their title against King James, D-Wade, Chris Bosh, and the hated Miami Heat on Christmas day.
Training camps open and free agency will begin on December 9th.
