Hope for Africa is a non-profit organization committed to bringing change to Africa by addressing the problems they are facing and fostering ideas to help them recover. CHS Hope for Africa club met for the first time Wednesday September 1. Rather than continuing their “Water is Basic” program, this year they are sponsoring a child named Humphrey. As a fundraiser for him, they will be selling buttons during lunches featuring Humphrey’s face for $5. If you want to get involved or join the club, go to one of the Hope for Africa meetings on Wednesdays at 4 in Mr. Bowden’s room, C231.
