Cowboys look to saddle the Colts

Now that the Cowboys’ season has begun with a victory, they will strive to continue their success when they take on the Arlington colts tonight.

Against Mesquite, Coppell relied much on the legs of Cam McDaniel as they called 54 rushing plays opposed to 22 through the air. Nonetheless, the method proved effective as McDaniel posted 218 yards rushing and 2 TD.

If the Cowboys look to win tonight, they will have to stop the lightning fast offense of the Arlington Colts. The Cowboys’ D, last week, were able to post a shutout, however, the Colts have star athlete Miles Onyegbule heading up the offense at quarterback.  The former wide receiver had 3 passing and four rushing touchdowns in the Colts’ 49-48 overtime win against Plano East a week ago.

The Cowboys will have to outscore the Colts in what looks to be a shoot out if they want to avenge last year’s playoff loss to Arlington. The game is at the University of Texas-Arlington tonight and starts at 7:30 p.m.
