Sixth week brings stress
Sammy Robben Staff Writer Waking up on Monday morning it seemed like this was going to be just like the last five weeks, but by Monday night I quickly realized that the sixth week of the six weeks was going to be much worse. Needless to say, with a quiz on Monday, 3 tests on Tuesday, 2 tests and a project due Wednesday, and another project due Thursday, I was very stressed. I was not pleasant to be around and suffered from a major lack of sleep, but I wasn’t alone. Everywhere I turned I either saw someone yawning, cramming all the information they could into the brains before a test, or I heard “I’m…

By Madison Ford and Thomas Hair Staff Writers Video By Jordan Hagan and Kelli Miles Part 1 By Madison Ford A point of much contention within the walls of Coppell High School is the dress code. While many have opinions on the code, females have somewhat of a more vested interest in the topic. Some students feel that females get caught for violating dress code more than males do. However, according to Coppell High School administration, males are caught just as consistently as females. “Girls for sure violate dress code more, but with as many pairs of pants that dudes have hanging around their ankles, I think it’s guys that actually get addressed more,”…

HOSA: CHS’ version of “House”
For some people, medical terminology invokes thoughts of TV shows like House or Grey’s Anatomy. At Coppell High School, the Health Occupation Students of America club (HOSA) students are able to explore the reality of these shows. “The best thing about HOSA is the exposure to the medical fields; for kids to make connections on campus and serve the community,” Health Science teacher Ray Pool said.
