Art exhibitions on display in library

IB art students, most of whom are beginner artists, have undertaken quite a challenging journey this year, and that journey is wrapping up for roughly half of the dedicated students.
At the beginning of the year, students had the choice to participate in Standard Level (SL) or Higher Level (HL), the latter being a two-year course as opposed to the typical one-year art class.
After completing their Candidate Record Booklets (CRB) two weeks prior, IB art students have recently finished setting up their exhibitions in the library this morning. The local moderator, an IB art teacher from Allen High School, will be at CHS on Tuesday to evaluate the works’ of the students.
With the completion of the exhibit, this one month hiatus from art production will come to an end as students revert back to working on actual art. IB art teacher Monica Winters has planned several projects for the remainder of the year including senior overalls for girls.
