Whatever happened to a reliable source to get British comedy on mainstream televison. I remember during my formative years of looking for something to laugh at I knew there was always something good and British on PBS. And it was at this time where I found out about the British Office, an early influence on my sense of humor. However, now when  I look through for something to watch British comedy-wise anyway, I can’t find anything. Not even on PBS. Oh also, I only have basic cable, s0 I don’t have that newfangled BBC America that everyone is talking to me about. So I’m at a point where the only way for me to watch British comedy is online or by renting series at the library, however this makes it impossible for the situation that happened to me when I was younger to happen now. And that saddens me a bit.  Anyways, does anyone know where I could find some trenchant( maybe dark?) british comedy on basic cable? Tell me where if you can find any.
