The Texas governor campaign proceeds further tonight, with the Democratic Gubernatorial Debate scheduled for 7 p.m.

The debate should last approximately an hour, and will be aired on CBS. Participants are limited to the top Democratic runners, Farouk Shami and Bill White.

Even if you aren’t voting in this election, and even if you aren’t voting for a Democrat in this election, tuning into the debate will be an effective way to learn about the issues at hand in the state of Texas, since though we often pay attention to national issues, we rarely hear about thing that are confined to the state.
