Coppell-based businesses prove their worth

Coppell’s a small place. Depending on traffic and route, you could drive through it in a matter of minutes. And yet, our tiny town houses a suprising number of business headquarters, and not just for mom-and-pop businesses, but large recognized corporations.

Most Coppellians could tell you that Cici’s headquarters are in Coppell. However, fewer realize that the Container Store is also centered in our little town. Fewer still know about Chick Companies Inc, a company that creates packaging for high-value items, from panda bears to Julia Child’s kitchen. Shared Technologies, a recipient of Forbes recognition for the 18th best place to work in the United States, is also relatively obscure.

All in all, I wouldn’t say Coppell business shame the town.
