J. D. Salinger has died at 91
The author of such works as Franny and Zooey and Catcher In The Rye has passed away at 91. He was a recluse for most of his life, however there have been rumours that he may have habitually wrote through this time. He was an inspiration to such writers as diverse as Richard Yates and Haruki Murakami. His apparently died of natural causes.
