While much of the attention in the NFL has been focused on whether Brett Farve will return or not next year, the possible retirement of Warner has been overlooked. This should not [...]

With all the rain the last two days, students are bundling up to keep warm and dry. There are some that maybe aren’t making the best clothing decision when it comes to dressing for the weather.
The temperature started out this morning at around 40 degrees. Though yesterday it was a little bit warmer, it’s still [...]

People around the world face suffering each day. Sometimes it takes a natural disaster to put the harsh realities of the lives of some into perspective for us. While the earthquake that devastated Haiti on Jan. 12 dispersed Haitian families, the disaster united foreign peoples under a common effort for relief aid. Do [...]

Let’s not get anything confused. The Grammys are by and large the worst
awards show of the four, otherwise known as the EGOT (Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, Tonys) by “30 Rock” fans. They are long, drawn-out and unlike the Oscars or even Emmys, do not try to even have street cred, going for the [...]

Tomorrow, Jan. 30, the Coppell High School drum line will be performing their winter showcase entitled “Oddity”.

Conan leaves empty hole in NBC

January 29, 2010 by Rebecca Neumann

I’m trying to find the logic behind angering your biggest asset— besides their action/comedy “Chuck”, of course— in order to save a poorly rated show with an overrated host. Needless to say, I can’t come up with anything.
NBC messed up. Big time.
Okay, okay, I get it. This has been talked about so much lately [...]

It happened. Yesterday, Apple finally officially announced their latest product: the iPad. Essentially a 9 inch by 8 inch iPod touch, the iPad is being sold as a computer that’s something more than a smart phone, but slightly less than a laptop. Although hardly a new concept, the iPad [...]
