Black Dynamite still has not been released  in Texas, and that to me is a complete problem. I have wanted to see this blaxploitation parody for a long time, in fact since it’s trailer has been released. This film is s parodying a genre that can be incredibly unintentionally hilarious, and from what I’ve seen of the trailer the intentional hilarity that they add to it seems like laugh out loud material.

Played by Michael Jai White, Black Dynamite is an ex-CIA agent who is just settling down, when the Man pumps drugs into the streets, killing his baby nephew and destroying his community. Thus flinging Black Dynamite into action. Since, I haven’t seen the film yet I am speculating on what I have learned from the trailer but so far from the grade it has received on the AVclub B+ and its Metacritic rating of 66, it seems when I do actually see the film I won’t be very far off.
