Power Rankings through week 5

1.      Minnesota (5-0) – A nice blowout victory after an emotional week for Favre.

2.      NY Giants (5-0) – Made short work of Oakland.

3.      Indianapolis (5-0) – No Dungy, no problem.

4.      New Orleans (4-0) – Bye: 5-0 New York Giants await.

5.      Denver (5-0) – Undefeated, overachieving and fired up.

6.      Philadelphia (4-1) – Eagles get another bye week as they travel to Oakland.

7.       Cincinnati (4-1) – Another photo finish, Bengals proving to be a force.

8.      NY Jets (3-2) – Second straight loss, this ones on the defense.

9.      New England (3-2) – So the Patriots aren’t the Patriots of 2007, but they are still a legitimate force.

10.   Atlanta (3-1) – Falcons showed they are for real with blowout of 49ers.

11.    Pittsburgh (3-2) – 4-2 looks likely as Cleveland comes to town.

12.   Baltimore (3-2) – Back to back losses and it doesn’t get any easier for the Ravens.

13.   Chicago (3-1) – Bye: 3-1 Atlanta awaits.

14.   Arizona (2-2) – Let a 21 point halftime slip, but manage to hang on with late pick six.

15.   San Diego (2-2) – Bye: 5-0 Denver awaits.

16.   Green Bay (2-2) – Bye: 1-4 Detroit awaits.

17.    San Francisco (3-2) – Frank Gore should return after the bye week.

18.   Dallas (3-2) – Is a win really just a win? Cowboys look very average.

19.   Miami (2-3) – The Dolphins are an interesting bunch, Chad Henne proving more than just a fill-in.

20.  Houston (2-3) – Who are the Texans?

21.   Seattle (2-3) – Mark this under odd score of the week: Seattle 44, Jacksonville 0

22.  Jacksonville (2-3) – What do you say to that performance? A letdown game?

23.  Detroit (1-4) – Record included, this a much improved bunch from last season.

24.  Carolina (1-3) – A first win, but nothing to get cocky about.

25.  Washington (2-3) – Redskins considering another Gibbs comeback?

26.  Tennessee (0-5) – Are the Titans mailing it in?

27.   Cleveland (1-4) – Derek Anderson completes 2 passes for 23 yards, and they WIN?

28.  Buffalo (1-4) – Maybe it’s time the Bills considered huddling.

29.  Oakland (1-4) – The worst part about it is this team is getting worse each week.

30.  Kansas City (0-5) – Chiefs had a chance to win, but couldn’t make a tackle.

31.   St. Louis (0-5) – The Vikings scored more points against them in a game then the Rams have all season.

32.  Tampa Bay (0-5) – It’s a great possibility any of 4 0-5 teams, excluding Tennessee, could finish the year 0-16.
