Dan Melchior und das Menace is amazing

It’s been some time since I’ve been this excited about new music. But yesterday, when perusing around at user lists of Albums of 2009 on Rate Your Music, I found out about Dan Melchior und das Menace, which is a band based around a british born musician Dan Melchior who resides in North Carolina, and his backing band Das Menace. Toghether they make distorted, fuzzy, blues rock by the way of Syd Barrett.  The track that got me into the band is called “O, Anxiety” , which is a punky garage rock track about that seems to be about a man slowly going crazy. They’ve released an album on vinyl, which is the only way Melchior says they’re going to release, and it’s called “Thank You Very Much”.The Album Cover
