Row 8, seat 1, section 119. I couldn’t have asked for a better seat to watch the 2nd in season home game of America’s team. The Cowboys exercised their new stadium, coming out with their first at home win of the season with 21-7 over the Carolina Panthers.

The Dallas Cowboys had a bit of a rough start with Tony Romo throwing to what seemed like open air, Marion Barber not playing due to a muscle strain, and Dallas not putting up a single number on the score board until the second half.

Acting as starts of the show, Felix Jones gained 94 yards before being benched for a knee injury and Mat McBriar kicked 187 yards on 5 punts.

Panthers QB, Jake Delhomme, aided in the Cowboys victory, throwing 2 interceptions but also got a touchdown and 220 yards.

I enjoyed every minute of the Cowboys game. Although there seemed to be more distress than cheering on the Cowboys side of things, at least they came out with a win; something we can all be happy about. I expect the team to shine more and more as the year goes on I personally am expecting big things from Felix Jones as he rushes the Dallas team to victory.

I know it isn’t easy, but I strongly recommend that every one in Dallas attend a Cowboys game at least once inside the new stadium. What is the fun of living in the same city as a record breaking football stadium, and not ever being able to claim having gone inside?

Recap:

Dallas Cowboys wiped the floor with the Carolina Panthers.

I predict Felix Jones will be the leader of the 2009 Cowboys football team.

Go see SOMETHING at the new Arlington stadium.
